home again

I got home a few hours ago. It's good to be back.
My grandmother is doing much better than when I got there last week, she was actually up and moving around some today. So praise the Lord for that.

update on Granny

Granny is doing better. She had been feeling pretty bad earlier this week, and so went to the doctor. They gave her some antibiotics, because they thought she might have a slight touch of bronchitis...she was also having lots of pain in her back and was afraid it might be an infection...but it turns out it was just spasms.
Her actual wounds from surgery are healing nicely, which we are very thankful.
She has also been up and moving around more. So over all she is doing much better.

update

I have been spending the week with my grandma who is recovering from hart surgery.

The other day my cousin Rebekah came over and we went out for lunch...and had a great time.

Here are some of the pictures we took with our cell phones.

New Words

Here are some words to help expand your vocabulary. Because after all "people judge you by the words you use"

Netiquette: the dos and don'ts of cyberworld

Newbie: people who obliviously disregard netiquette

Snail Mail: mail sent through the US postal service. Not e-mail

Zine : a tiny inexpensive, online self-published version of a magazine

Face-2-Face: a personal meeting, offline...non-electronic communication

Excuse me sir, can you tell me where I am?

Here is an city with a real tongue-twister name.

Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, Wales
Can you pronounce that?

It is a real place I googled it.

Here is how to pronounce it.

You should look it up...

"We can not avoid the responsibilities that confront us...To refuse to deal with them at all merely amounts to dealing with them badly. We have a given problem to solve. If we undertake the solution, there is of course, always the danger that we may not solve them aright; but to refuse to undertake the solutions simply renders it certain that we cannot possibly solve them aright."
